Looking for something to do this September? We’ve got you covered! Philly will be one happening city this September as we celebrate Labor Day weekend with the Made in America Festival followed by Labor Day weekend fireworks and this month’s Mexican Independence Day Festival.
Made in America Festival
This Labor Day weekend, head over to The Benjamin Franklin Parkway for music, food and lots of fun. This year’s two-day concert is headlined by Bad Bunny and Tyler, the Creator. But beyond the headliners, there’s quite a line-up this year: Burna Boy, Snoh Aalegra, Kodak Black, Pusha T, Lil Tjay, Tate McRae, Fuerza Regida, Toro y Moi, Babyface Ray, Key Glock, Larry June, Rels B, Victoria Monét, Chimbala and Ryan Castro.
Made in America is a ticketed event. General-admission tickets are available for either Saturday ($99) or Sunday ($99), with two-day passes also up for grabs ($150). VIP passes are also available. Visit the Made In America 2022 website for more details.
Labor Day Weekend Fireworks
What’s the best way to end Philadelphia’s Labor Day weekend celebration? With fireworks, of course! On Saturday, Sept. 3, the Philly sky will light up with fireworks over The Delaware River.
Mexican Independence Day Festival
This Sunday, Sept. 18, Families are invited to the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing for kids activities, music, food crafts and traditional Mexican art for the 2022 Mexican Independence Day Festival, a celebration of Mexican heritage right here in Philadelphia.
